Fitness and New Year’s Resolutions always seem to go together.

Excuses

The hardest part of starting a workout (other than actually putting on shorts and a t-shirt) is figuring out what I’m going to do. Once those shorts and t-shirt are on, I don’t want to lose momentum. So I generally headed down to the basement and improvised. That’s what led me to tweak my system for 2021.

Month View of my Workouts

The tweak is a monthly program. I gathered a few workout WODs and stretching videos, and plugged them into my calendar. Setting the repeat of any one particular workout to once monthly. I’ll never repeat the same workout in the same month again! Everything is written down and ready to use:

Gentle reminder:

Take it easy on me. These workouts are geared for me; I’m considered a senior in certain circles 😉

My First Workout of the Year

I Totally want to be Well Rounded

Aftermath

My first time doing this workout, and loved the run thrown into the mix of squats, push-ups, and sit-ups.

Accomplishable Score:10/10 This workout was totally doable under 30 min.
Main Challenge:Tie between the push-ups & the sit-ups.
Most Enjoyable:The 400m runs… short & sweet…or is it sweat:)
