Perfect Marinade for Beef: Steaks and Roasts

Marinating a roast or steaks in this beef marinade can enhance its flavor and tenderness, and the marinade can also be used as the flavorful base for gravy.

How easy is that!
Use the marinade to make gravy: whisk in flour while boiling the marinade to thicken it to your desired consistency. Enjoy the delicious and flavorful roast and gravy!

Ingredients:
- olive oil
- Worcestershire sauce
- soy sauce
- balsamic vinegar
- 3 tbs Dijon
- 3 cloves garlic
- + Montreal steak spice for steaks
Directions:
- Measure equal amounts of these 4 ingredients: olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce and the balsamic vinegar into a zip-lock bag or into a flat dish. Two tablespoons of each ingredient is more than enough for 2-4 steaks.
- Add the Dijon mustard and some garlic into the mixture. Whisk the marinade to incorporate all the ingredients.
- Sprinkle steaks liberally with Montreal steak spice seasoning.
- Place steaks into the marinade and turn to coat. Let the steaks marinade for a few hours before barbecuing.

It’s important to note that it’s best to marinate your steak for at least a few hours, but no longer than 24 hours. This will help the flavors penetrate the meat and give you a delicious and flavorful result.
