Moist lasagna every time!

Ingredients:

Layer Components

  1. Your favorite marinara or meat sauce
    • Prepare your favorite marinara or meat sauce.
  2. Your favorite ricotta or cottage cheese mixture
    • A ricotta cheese mixture with parmesan cheese is suggested in the link.
    • Alternatively, I mix a container of cottage cheese, raw egg, and Parmesan for this mixture.
  3. Uncooked lasagna noodles
  4. Grated mozzarella cheese
Layered lasagna in the slow cooker & ready for cooking.

Directions:

  1. Spray the slow-cooker. Add a thin liquid layer of marinara sauce to bottom of the cooker.
  2. Layering as follows:
    • noodles – crack them to fit your slow-cooker in a single layer
    • your prepared sauce – ensure full coverage of noodles
    • grated mozarella – sprinkle liberally
    • ricotta or cottage cheese layer – spread around evenly
  3. Continue layers in the above order until all ingredients are used up.
  4. Top it off with a layer of the grated mozarella
  5. It’s suggested to cook the lasagna in the slow-cooker at low temperature for 4-5 hours. I found my lasagna cooked & ready to eat after 3 hours.
